Photo Inspiration #3: Scones-in-a-Tube

Scones In A Tube

I’m guessing this seems an odd choice for a Photo Inspiration post, since Scones-in-a-Tube aren’t inherently inspiring, not like gorgeous bouquets and sunset clouds. Well, this week’s choice is about a deeper sort of inspiration — ease, convenience, and weekend delights.

Ever since taking Never On A Sunday with Cairene MacDonald of ThirdHandWorks, I’ve been planning for, taking, and savoring weekends. My Scones-in-a-Tube were a weekend adventure. They were delightful — unfortunately, not really for my taste buds. But, to my spirit, they were a real treat! So, I’m honoring them with a photo.

Baked Scones

And, to honor the spirit of scones, because scones are amazing when done right, try Tyler Florence’s Blueberry Scones with Lemon Glaze … they are the perfect mix of butter, tang, and sugar sweet.

In truth, immediately i didn’t understand the essence. But after re-reading all at once became clear.

Thanks for reading, @Cornelius! I’m glad you were willing to take some time to read again and connect with the idea — the reasons the scones were inspiring was definitely a more abstract concept than past photo inspirations.
