Children’s Nonfiction Books

I’ve authored more than 50 children’s nonfiction books on topics ranging from celebrity biographies to living healthy through ABDO Publishing.

As a working journalist for more than a decade, I’ve written hundreds of features and essays. I write on topics including arts and entertainment, home and garden, health, personal growth, fascinating people, romance, and travel. I got my start as a newspaper feature writer, then worked as an editor at an award-winning trio of regional lifestyle magazines. Today, my focus is simply finding great stories and sharing them in compelling ways. My writing appears regularly in home and garden magazines, lifestyle magazines, and major daily newspapers such as the Star Tribune and the Chicago Tribune.
